Following the launch of three web projects, including a redesign of the Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) website, Edinburgh agency Tsuko is looking to expand its digital team further.

Tsuko is looking to appoint three additional people to support its web team: an account manager with web experience, a web developer and a web designer.

The expansion of its web presence has been driven by recent work completed by the agency, including projects for Dundas Castle, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and SPT, the largest transport network outside London.

A major digital project, beginning with a web audit and consumer focus groups through to a complete re-design of the website, the new SPT website has brought about a tangible increase in traffic since its launch in September. The intranet, part of a wider brand engagement project, has also been completed by Tsuko.

Bob Wylie, director of communications for Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT), the West of Scotland transport authority said: “SPT engaged Tsuko to help us with the transformation of our website and intranet. The transformation has taken us to a new cutting edge part of cyberspace.”

The site, www.spt.co.uk includes better functionality and targeted information made more easily accessible.

According to Susanna Freedman, managing director of Tsuko, the project is now proving the platform for new business.

She confirmed:

“Our recent web projects have brought a lot of new interest and because digital is such a key part of brand communication, this is where we are seeing real growth within the company.

“Websites are about driving a deeper engagement with brands and our combination of strategic planning, brand development and creative thinking strikes a chord with many businesses which increasingly need to develop robust business cases for any marketing spend.”
