A new road safety cinema campaign for Medway Community Safety Partnership has launched, created by An Agency Called England.

The campaign will run in Medway cinemas and uses satire rather than the aim to shock or preach to its audience.

The campaign is part of a wider road safety campaign that they agency is creating for Medway Community Safety Partnership including Medway Council.

The campaign was conceived by england’s creative director, Paul Alexander, and also includes outdoor, press advertising, radio and ambient media.

The commercial was shot by The Mob Film Co from Manchester, with Mark Collins producing and Reg Sanders directing.

Mark Collins said: “We loved England’s idea of turning a road safety campaign on its head by using a satirical approach with such a taboo subject. Director Reg Sanders clearly brought the comedy through on the day, with the unusual sight of crew laughing out loud and onlookers wondering why we were carrying coffins around The Pie Factory in Manchester.”

Post-production was provided by Sumners.
