After a competitive re-tendering process culminating in a three-way pitch, Glasgow PR agency Smarts will again work for the Carbon Trust Scotland for another three years.

Smarts will build on its work for the Trust over the last three years to raise the profile of the Government backed organisation and its activities among businesses, stakeholders and public sector organisations in Scotland.

John Stocks, manager of Carbon Trust Scotland, said: “The re-tendering process is about looking forward to the service you can expect to receive in the future, and Smarts put forward a winning bid based on innovative new ideas that will continue to grow stakeholder awareness and understanding.”

The account will be led by Smarts director Fergus Reid, and managed on a day to day basis by senior account manager Amanda Sutcliffe with support from account manager Emma Davies.

Reid said: “We are delighted to have secured the Carbon Trust Scotland account for another three years. The Carbon Trust is a forward looking organisation at the cutting edge of providing low carbon solutions for business in Scotland and we look forward to continuing our close partnership.”
