Transforming Telford, the economic development company responsible for the regeneration and economic growth of the West Midlands town, has appointed Seal Communications to deliver its regional and national PR.

The appointment followed a competitive pitch and work will build on raising the profile of Transforming Telford’s business networks and regeneration plans for the town.

Kate Morris, chief executive of Seal Communications, said: “It is important that we now reach a broader audience to put Telford firmly on the national agenda and help Transforming Telford attract inward investment.”

Meanwhile, Grand Designs Live, the home and interiors roadshow, has appointed Seal to handle media communications for its upcoming Birmingham event.

The agency will embark on a creative campaign to build awareness of the 10-12 October event.

And the Birmingham-based agency has also been appointed to a PR brief from global games developer Scientific Games Corporation.

Seal has been charged with raising the trade profile of the corporation’s UK-based subsidiaries Games Media and The Global Draw.

Both provide digital pay-to-play payout gaming solutions, with Games Media catering specifically for pub retailing companies and The Global Draw covering bookmakers’ shops.

Christine Jinks, director of marketing for Games Media and The Global Draw, said: “Both Games Media and The Global Draw have grown rapidly, but in order to deliver continued success and growth in their respective markets a much greater emphasis needs to be placed on the marketing and PR functions.”
