Farquharson joins STV North
Eric Farquharson has been appointed as head of commercial development for stv North.
Heading up stv’s Aberdeen and Dundee based commercial operations, Farquharson will be responsible for developing commercial airtime revenue, sponsorship opportunities and other revenue streams for stv in the North East. He will be based in stv’s Aberdeen studios.
Farquharson joins stv from Aberdeen Independent, where he started as Sales Director in 1998 and was appointed Managing Director in 2004. Previously, he has also worked as Advertising Manager for Press & Journal and Aberdeen Evening Express, and Advertising Controller for The Herald and Evening Times.
Farquharson said: “I’m really excited about this challenging new role, and I look forward to working with the stv North sales teams to explore and develop the commercial opportunities for the company.”
