Unison appoints Enable Interactive for digital task
Bristol-based agency Enable Interactive has been appointed to handle a digital project for Unison, the UK public services union.
Unison, which has over 1.3 million members and 1,200 staff, has tasked Enable with assisting its bid to identify their requirements and realise the potential in the digital arena. The project will run for several months and include stakeholder interviews, business and user requirements gathering and workshops.
Unison attracts members from the health care, local government, police, schools and colleges, electricity, gas, water, transport and voluntary sectors. Commenting on working with the organisation, Enable's strategy director Matt Connolly said:"Last year UNISON recruited more than 137,000 members and we are excited to be able help them to realise and enjoy the massive benefits digital can offer in helping recruit and retain members, as well as provide their activists with the tools they need to make a difference."
Enable was founded by Matt Connolly and Darius Pocha in 2003 and counts the likes of Breast Cancer Care, WWF, British Red Cross, Clarks, Microsoft, and Channel 4 among its client base.
