VisitScotland retains its German agencies for Pan-Euro accounts

Consell Werbeagentur, a Frankfurt-based agency has been retained to the Pan European VisitScotland creative account, while Dusseldorf agency, Beyond Interaction has also been kept for the three-year media buying contract.

Both companies are a part of the Grey Group and the appointment will see them cover VisitScotland’s main brands of touring holidays, city breaks and golf across Europe, with particular focus on Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Sweden.

The activity will have both on-line marketing and customer relationship building strands and will feature the established line ‘Scotland: Welcome to our Life’

The campaign budgets are £2m for media and £1.4m for creative.

It is understood that The Union and BD Network were the two Scottish agencies to be involved in the competitive pitch process.
