Whitenoise has created a series of idents for electrical product distributor, CPC.

The idents pay homage to the Sci-Fi genre, with CPC’s product range of tools and electrical components featured as spacecrafts flying through the atmosphere. The squadrons of tools and cables are on a mission to reach the CPC catalogue, which is shown as a huge monolith at the centre of the galaxy.

No CGI elements were used to provide an authentic look of classic 1970s sci-fi films. All the products were shot against a green screen on HD and then added onto the space backgrounds in postproduction at the Whitenoise HD edit facility.

The idents will run for 13 episodes and were produced on a competitive budget of just £10,000.
