The BIG Partnership has announced a new UK-wide deal with Bauer Radio. The win comes on the back of a successful one-off campaign carried out by BIG in December 2007.

The agency worked with the Radio Charities wing of Bauer, formerly Emap, for its “Every Penny Counts” campaign in conjunction with Tesco.

Alex Barr, Director of The BIG Partnership, said: “We undertook some project work at very short notice in December last year for the “Every Penny Counts” fund-raising campaign. We won the retainer on the strength of its success and will probably do about three or four UK-wide campaigns for them in the coming year.

“We are absolutely delighted with this significant new business win and to add Bauer to our growing client list. The team worked really hard on the initial campaign and their great results reflected this and resulted directly in gaining this new contract.”

Dawn Gibson, Bauer’s marketing director for Radio Charities, said:

“The BIG Partnership worked with us on a one off project for Christmas and I was so impressed with how it was handled that we decided to agree on a more formal relationship on an ongoing basis.

“They delivered a targeted public relations campaign, Scotland-wide, which achieved excellent coverage. They had a pro-active and professional approach from the beginning and I am looking forward to continuing to work with them in the future.”
