National Australia Group has appointed WWAV Rapp Collins Edinburgh to its creatie roster, with the agency developing a new Customer Relationship Marketing strategy. The news will come as some consolation to the agency, which came close to scooping a £2m brief to handle the direct marketing account for Glenfiddich whisky. After making it on to a final shortlist of two WWAV, which already has drinks brand Strongbow in its portfolio, finally lost out to Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw. The bank brief follows on from work the agency did to create an end of tax year in-branch promotion earlier this year. It now joins The Gate, Story and The Union on the main roster.Meanwhile, Children 1st has also appointed WWAV to run a direct marketing fund raising campaign for the charity; which aims to acquire and retain donors. In addition, Scottish Rugby has also handed a new project brief to the agency. WWAV Rapp Collins Edinburgh appointed its three-strong management team last year, which has seen the agency bring in a number of new business wins since.
