Origin on song with Songplayer win

Stockport-based creative company Origin has won the brand identity, advertising and web design for online music tuition software Songplayer.

The agency won the business following a pitch in November, and the win comes less than a month after Duncan Slater joined as business development director from Poulters.

Slater said: “We’re delighted to start as we mean to go on – with a high-profile win for a brand that’s really going places”.

The agency will commence an immediate creative and brand audit ahead of a full launch later in 2008.

Songplayer positions itself as the easy online way to learn guitar. The software lets users synchronise their playing against downloaded mp3s and to replicate a song’s exact sound.
