Steve Mawhinney, senior art director at Frame, is to leave the agency for a life in America.

Mawhinney will to move to San Francisco in the next fortnight with his wife, but makes the move without a job to go to.

“I’m looking for a change of scenery as I’ve been here for nearly 15 years and there’s a healthy market over there,” he explained.

Mawhinney previously worked at TBWA and Faulds, among other agencies. At Faulds he was deputy creative director alongside now 1576 creative director Pete Bastiman, before the two moved to TBWA where they shared the creative director role.

Frame is currently looking for a replacement for Mawhinney, while it is also looking to bring in a new creative team.
