Hookson wins new borders campus venture

Hookson has won a five way pitch to develop a marketing and communications strategy for a new Borders based campus.

The Scottish Borders Campus, a joint venture between Borders College and Heriot-Watt University, based in Galashiels has briefed Hookson to undertake research with stakeholders in order to understand and provide a clear definition and identity for the campus.

From this research a brand positioning will be developed and a marketing and communications strategy, which will then be implemented.

Kirsty Macgregor, PR manager for Heriot-Watt University, said: Hookson faced strong competition to win this unique brand positioning tender. This is a very exciting time in Heriot-Watt University's history and reinforces the university's commitment to Higher Education in the Scottish Borders. I am delighted to be working with Hookson's on what I know will be a interesting and ground breaking project."
