Glasgow City Council has stepped up its fight against vandalism with the appointment of Nation1.

The Glasgow-based agency has won the pitch for the council’s anti-vandalism campaign, which will focus on the cause and effect of vandalism in the city, marking a new direction in the council’s battle.

The agency has also won a three-way pitch for the European launch of Flexible Ductings’ Vac-U-Store product. The launch kicks off at the Ideal Home Show Scotland and involves planning, branding and a full through-the-line campaign.

Furthermore, Nation1 has been appointed to the Milk Development Council’s through-the-line account.

The Milk Development Council represents the dairy industry in the UK and Nation1 has been handed the task of improving internal communications to change perceptions of the council within its membership.

Meanwhile, Ian Grant, formerly senior planner at both Faulds and The Leith, joins in a consultancy role as creative planner and Tom McRorie joins the team as head of design, joining from Stevenson Sharpe.
