Glasgow band signed by Puma
An unknown Scots rock band has been signed up by a worldwide sportswear brand to provide the soundtrack for its next advertising campaign.
Little-known Glaswegian band The Boogaloo Investigators’ track, Let the Groove Move You, will feature in adverts all over the world for sportswear giant Puma.
The advert, which is set to become a cult classic, features Premierships stars Robert Pires, Sylvain Wiltord and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
The commercial will be screened on MTV and cinema screens globally and will also help launch Sky TV’s football shows for the coming season.
The Boogaloo Investigators fought off competition from the Smiths, the Thrills and Iggy Pop to have their tune in the ads.
