Shaw Marketing and Design, the Edinburgh-based consultancy, has scooped several new clients worth a combined six-figure sum.

The agency has created an identity, corporate literature, a website and through-the-line advertising for Viking Island Holidays.

The company is a joint venture between NorthLink Ferries and the local tourist authorities in Orkney and Shetland and will launch in April.

Shaw will also create an identity for a new association created by the Timber Frame Association and the Timber and Brick Consortium - the UK Timber Frame Association.

Shaw will also work on a logo and brand positioning for viral marketing company Mobile Active.

John Shaw, managing director of the agency, said: "We couldn't have had a better beginning to the new year. These are high quality projects, all won in a competitive market, and demanding a range of design and marketing skills."
