Everybody wants to hit the jackpot, right? Multi-national lotteries like EuroMillions stir up a lot of interest, especially when there is a Super Draw and the top prize skyrockets to €100 million. But every time we start dreaming we are faced with the eternal question: how do we pick the right numbers? We are no fortune tellers, so nothing is certain, but we do know a good formula that will drastically improve your odds of winning. It’s called lotto syndicates, and they have already proven their power, turning many ordinary people into millionaires overnight.

What Is a Lottery Syndicate?

A lottery syndicate is a group of people who decide to buy a number of tickets together, splitting the costs and sharing the prizes. Becoming a member of a syndicate presents several advantages, including higher odds of winning and lower tickets costs.

Most syndicates are comprised of co-workers, family and neighbors. But what if you don’t have a group of lottery fans around? Who will you team up with to purchase more tickets and boost your winning odds?

Online Lottery Syndicates

Besides offering official lottery tickets to lotteries from all over the world, theLotter gives players a chance to join online syndicates for the world’s top lotteries, including EuroMillions and the American lotto giants Mega Millions and Powerball.

With the EuroMillions SuperDraw coming up this Friday, now is the time to get online and order your EuroMillions syndicate shares!

EuroMillions Syndicate Winners' Stories

Lottery syndicates have already created many success stories, and many EuroMillions fans saw their dreams come true whilst playing together with their friends. Here are some of the most inspiring syndicate success stories:

St. Matthew’s Syndicate

The lives of 18 cleaning ladies from Saltcoats certainly improved after sweeping up a lotto million in March this year. Ten of the ladies decided to reveal their identity to the public. When speaking about their plans, they mentioned “sunshine holidays, new televisions and decorating their homes”.

The Jolly Boatman Pub Syndicate

What role does the pub play in English people’s lives? For most of us it’s the place where we hang out and socialise with friends. But for 6 Newhaven residents, including landlady Charlotte Maynard, 33, and her mother, it certainly means much more than that. The Jolly Boatman Pub syndicate scooped £1 million as their ticket had the winning EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker number. Each of them became £166,000 richer. While they are not millionaires, the win certainly made their lives easier. Charlotte could afford to invest in some renovations for the pub, while the others spoke about taking a dream vacation, paying off their debts and improving their houses.

The Corby Stars

This is how 12 bus drivers from Corby dubbed themselves after hitting a £38 million EuroMillions jackpot back in 2012. “I am so happy we have all won together”, said 34-year-old Chris Smith, who was the syndicate’s leader and responsible for picking the winning numbers.

After cashing in £3.1 million each, the lucky syndicate members shared their luxury spending plans with the press. After spending the nine previous years as a Stagecoach employee and a total of 16 years as a bus driver, John Noakes, aged 43 at the time of the win, could finally afford to buy some of his dream cars – an Aston Martin Vantage and a luxury Range Rover. The lottery win also helped him fulfill another dream – taking a trip to Memphis, his idol’s hometown. The other members’ spending plans followed the same line: luxury cars, homes abroad, exotic holidays, further education, paying off debts, helping relatives, retiring and enjoying a life of leisure.
