Dubai has recruited Hollywood A-listers Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson and Zoe Saldana to fly the flag for Dubai in the United Arab Emirates in a story of self-discovery.
The celebrity trio takes centre stage alongside key city attractions for ‘A Story Takes Flight’, a joint initiative by Dubai Tourism and creative agency Virtue to communicate the city’s attractions to an international audience.
Oliver Woodley, senior vice-president and commercial director MEA at Virtue: “By creating a film about discovery it allowed us to venture into and show a very different side to Dubai. Through collaboration with Gwyneth, Kate and Zoe, Dubai Tourism puts Dubai into the heart of popular culture. By leveraging the reach and influence of these stars, Dubai Tourism can tell an authentic story, inspire consideration, and show the city in its most vibrant light.”
Positioning Dubai as a diverse and multicultural destination the film captures each actress on their exploration of a different facet of what the city has to offer, from sailing in the gulf to getting lost in the old town and trekking through the desert.
The film is supported by each celebrities social media channels in addition to digital, TV, OTT, ATV OOH, and cinema in 30 global markets.
