Geico’s bringing spooks, some hocus pocus and the resurrection of a chainsaw-bearing cult-classic in its latest campaign this October. From TV spots to social, OOH and even Halloween-centric email and digital aesthetics — Geico’s going all in for its 25th anniversary.

“We’re doing things Geico’s never really done before,” says Martin Agency creative director Neel Williams. “It’s new territory to dabble with this much magic.” There’s some transfiguration at play by a roommate witch — who also has her own cooking show as a side-hustle.

“When sourcing talent, it’s hard to find real witches,” says Martin associate creative director, Mauricio Mazzariol. “But, we did it. Griswalda is a golden gal.” We contest that the magic you’ll see in these spots is real.
