A video series for AmLactin Skin Care highlights women as part of its 'Power of the plus' campaign. Brooklyn-based agency The Bam Connection has been working with AmLactin, the leading dermatologist-recommended alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) moisturizer brand since last summer, and this national digital campaign features some uniquely powerful women on very unique career paths.

Just in time for Mother’s Day, the two videos debuting on Friday not only feature strong women, but both are moms: Heather “The Heat” Hardy, is a professional boxer from Brooklyn who is “powered by” her daughter and her love for boxing – despite a long and bumpy road she took to get there, she now holds the WBC International Female Super Bantamweight title and has never lost a fight.

The second features Casey Ligon, an lettering artist, photographer, food stylist, chalk muralist, and Instagram-er. Though she initially struggled to reconcile her passion with a career, she ultimately embraced her “endlessly creative” spirit and has become an Instagram sensation, with thousands of followers and partnerships with top brands.

Heather and Casey’s inspirational stories will strike a chord with AmLactin’s consumers, while driving home the “Powered By” tagline: “AmLactin is powered by AHA. What are you powered by?” with more videos to come.
