This Valentine’s Day, Espolòn Tequila presents 'The Ghost Line' - a safe space hotline for thwarted lovers to spill their ghosting stories of times gone by, preferably over a glass of tequila, or two. “Ghosting” – the term made popular by today’s mobile dating culture (Tinder, Bumble, Grindr, etc.) – is basically rejection, only without the finality. It is when someone stops answering your texts or calls without explanation.

So while some will be inundated with love this year – buying flowers, chocolates, plotting how best to Instagram their love, making it FB official and beyond, let’s not forget the rest of us. Possibly alone on the couch with a bag of Hot Cheetos and bottle of red wine, refreshing Bumble, sighing, and checking our exes’ IG story every three seconds. Those who have been left on read and ignored. For them, there is The Ghost Line.

HOTLINE: 1 -800-Espolòn (377-6566)

The Espolon Ghost Line kicked-off with a social and guerilla ad campaign throughout NYC called 'Love Is Dead'. The campaign will develop into much more down the line including using 'The Ghost Line' callers’ messages for a user-generated campaign in the future.
