On New Year’s Eve, Vodafone asked people from all around the world to share how excited they are about the new year, by uploading their New Year’s Resolutions using #ResolutionsLive.
Videos were played back in the hours leading up to midnight on the 31 December through a special Facebook Live broadcasted internationally – covering Egypt, Turkey, Portugal, Greece, Albania, Romania and the Czech Republic.
The campaign was created by Santo London together with the Facebook Creative Shop, with Telescope as Technical Production partner.
Building on Vodafone’s ‘The future is exciting’ positioning, #ResolutionsLive captured the optimism and spirit of the New Year to help people everywhere keep their resolutions.
As the clock approached midnight on New Year’s Eve, people who posted their resolution using #ResolutionsLive saw videos and photos of themselves – as well as thousands of others like them – making promises for a better, healthier and happier 2019.
Throughout January, the campaign will continue with offers linked to the most popular resolutions, such as free data to swipe right and find love and money off monthly plans to help save.
