Following the success of its Trojan Man revamp last year with 72 & Sunny, the brand tapped Night After Night to bring the Trojan Man’s 'Big Sexy World' to life. The Trojan Van hit the road to visit college campuses and highly foot-trafficked areas across Washington DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia and the surrounding areas with more tour dates to be announced in the future.
The CDC reports that one-in-two sexually active persons will contract an STI by age 25 so the purpose of the Trojan Van tour is to encourage open and honest conversations around sex and condom use to prevent both STIs and unintended pregnancies.
Normalization of condom use is promoted by handing out free Trojan condoms as well as hosting sex-positive karaoke, sensual food (hot dogs), a Trojan Man “sexie” (selfie) booth complete with gong and mini, adult sex-ed classes in partnership with local sex-positive influencers. And the events were supported through promotion by local sex-positive influencers (@SugartheShop,@VagEsteem & @TheVelvetLily) as well as through local radio, print and dedicated email buys.
