Cashmere company Naadam, the brand that is democratizing the cashmere industry, has launched its latest tongue-in-cheek campaign for summer cashmere: Naadam Ultra-Thin, a silky-soft summer cashmere collection for women that promises to be so light and thin, you’ll forget it’s there.

This is a strategic move to educate consumers that cashmere isn’t only for the winter months, but the way they are doing it will likely make you chuckle - they’re comparing cashmere to condoms.

According to Naadam, their latest “summer-ized” cashmere is ultra-thin and feels like it’s barely there. It’s ribbed for her pleasure, and as a company, they’re all about safety - from their goats, to their herders to the family-owned factory they work with to produce their garments. Naadam believed the similarities were so striking that they even decided to create packaging that actually looks like a condom (see below).

Just as the brand launched an outdoor advertising campaign in NYC last fall of 1,500 posters of goats having sex to promote its first NYC store and their goat vaccination and breeding programs they have created in Mongolia, Naadam wanted to continue making a splash with the same tongue-in-cheek humor.
