Orange France has launched an operation aimed at bringing families together in a time of confusion and confinement.

As lockdowns persist around the world, reaching out to friends and families has never been more important, but in France, as elsewhere, there's one segment of the population that's difficult to reach, seniors.

Orange is dedicating television ad space to friends and families hoping to share messages of love and support. The phone operator developed an online platform where anyone can go record a 5-10 message, which are turned into spots and aired on TV (9 programs on 4 networks). The platform went live on 10 April and so far over 1,000 messages have been recorded, and 2 films produced.

The operation will continue for the foreseeable future and the agency expects to create 50 films.
