DAZN: Thank You Dirk by Kolle Rebbe
- Location:
For Dirk Nowitzki's last home game of the season. Sports broadcaster DAZN and advertising agency Kolle Rebbe are celebrating it with an international digital campaign involving numerous sports influencers.
The "German Wunderkind" has been loyal to his team, the Dallas Mavericks, and his fans for 21 years. Unlike many other stars, he chose loyalty instead of money and authenticity instead of glamour. Now is the time to give something back. Following his jersey number 41, DAZN and Kolle Rebbe call on all Nowitzki fans to pay tribute to his achievements and share personal moments under the hashtag #ALL41. Among them are prominent fans like Marc-André ter Stegen, Mario Götze and Kevin-Prince Boateng.
Kolle Rebbe has created a tribute film that reflects the career of the 40-year-old from Würzburg. For this, real fans in Dallas and Würzburg were portrayed, through which one senses the deep connection between Nowitzki and his two hometowns. In addition to Alexander Michaelsen and Christoph Bielefeldt, who directed the campaign together with DoP Michael Multhoff, Marco Obermann (Creation Unit Manager), Andreas Knapp (Art Director), Jan Vierig (Consulting Unit Manager), Lea Zaydowicz (Consulting), Christopher Tychsen (Producer) and Jan-Ole Brendel (Assistant Producer) are responsible for the campaign at the agency.
The film will be shown on YouTube, Facebook and lnstagram and on the video cube in the American Airlines Arena in Dallas during the night to Wednesday. In addition, the agency will produce detailed content around the game. This will be made available exclusively on the DAZN platform.
