Creative agency of record KBS recently launched ‘Job Search’ for Monster.com, with a giant purple monster carrying a woman to her new job.

The campaign is guided by Monster’s ‘Find Better’ brand platform which is all about empathizing with job seekers, challenging them not to settle and devoutly supporting them throughout their journey to find the jobs they deserve.

‘Job Search’ is part of Monster.com’s global, brand relaunch showing that – literally and figuratively – (a) Monster is behind the job seeker, standing in their corner as they navigate the taxing and often confusing job search process. In the spot, a giant purple monster grabs a woman, a la King Kong, who is not satisfied with her job. He trudges through the streets, knocking down everything in his path, until he delivers the woman to a new, satisfying job.

The spot was directed by the internationally-awarded Matthijs Van Heijningen of MJZ. The computer-generated monster was created by The Mill.

Assets include a longer-format film in cinema and a shorter form for social and TV, which depict a 50-foot purple monster saving the day by rescuing an unhappy woman from her miserable job, and carefully placing her in a better career. The creative will run across mediums including advanced TV, digital, cinema, and social channels.
