Parachute: Let Outside In by Interesting Development
- Location:
After encouraging harried commuters in NYC, LA and San Francisco to “hibernate” in warm comfort this past winter, born-online home essentials brand Parachute is now launching a national campaign to inspire consumers to update their interiors for spring and summer.
This new campaign, titled 'Let Outside In,' is based on the observation that spring is a time when outdoor and indoor life start to blend. Home interiors begin to incorporate more fresh air and natural light, and sleep becomes more about waking up to sunlight streaming in through a window, versus hiding out from the cold and hitting “snooze” on an alarm clock enshrouded in darkness. This visually-driven campaign shows the intersection of nature and home, inspiring people to refresh their spaces with the brand’s modern products.
The TV, OOH and social ads feature images by renowned photographer Chloe Aftel, known for her intimate portraits of celebrities and members of the genderqueer community. The TV spots start with close-up shots of people relaxing in bed or a bathtub, and in a single take, slowly pull back to reveal unique worlds that blend bedrooms and bathrooms with orchards, meadows, forests, and hot springs.
