Coca-Cola France is throwing lighthearted shade on England in holiday tree topper spot.

In the spot, an English football fan tops his tree with a #Noël2Étoiles gold topper, complete with two stars aside a Coke bottle. But one star falls off his topper as he places it atop the tree. Pan to a poster that says "It's not coming home," a dig at England's failed World Cup win attempt.

In French, it states: "A #Christmas2Stars is only for the World Champions - Sorry England."

Nonetheless, Coca-Cola wishes all world champions a merry #Noël2Étoiles, with the possibility of putting a two-star crest on top of your tree. For the chance to get a two star crest: go to www.cocacolastore.fr. From November 26 to December 17, consumers will be able to take part in a drawing to try to win a crest.
