Dorset Sea Salt Co offers a range of prestige, sustainably and ethically sourced salt products. The Dorset-based business appointed CuCo earlier this year to redesign the brand's logo, packaging and website. The brand was looking for a new brand identity that would help differentiate Dorset Sea Salt Co, emphasise the brand’s values and craftsmanship as well as the premium quality of its products.

The new, typographic logo CuCo created for Dorset Sea Salt was printed on the new packaging using gold foiling, giving the product a more prestige, premium image. CuCo suggested to use recyclable glass jars for the new packaging to better reflect Dorset Sea Salt’s sustainable values, whilst also communicating the high quality of the products.

In order to differentiate the brand from its competitors and avoid the standard, stereotypical blue so many other brands use, CuCo decided to use a soft, pastel colour palette for the new packaging range. The new, colourful packaging clearly stands out on the shelves and has already had a major impact, as the brand has already seen a significant increase in sales from prestigious hotels and restaurants and the awareness of the brand is rising across the UK.
