The latest KFC ad from Circus Grey Peru is a classic brand film with a Christmas greeting, but with a curious twist.
In its 84 seconds, the film happens the morning after Christmas revealing the real identity of Santa, surprising the audience.
Just after 'The Colonel Santa' aired people reacted immediately. They loved the idea and the TV spot quickly became the country´s most commented-on Christmas ad in the country.
For this film, Circus Grey wanted to create a sad, dark and depressive atmosphere around Santa the day after Christmas. On December 25, the work is over for him, so he has to return to his normal status and live the other 364 days of the year as a normal guy...The Colonel.
The Film was directed by Hernan Bargman from Apaga Incendios Films.
