Black Sheep Studios NY (BBH NY) has partnered with director Stephen Venezia to produce the music video for Let Go by Beau Young Prince, a hit song from the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack, brought to him by Def Jam.

The video will be airing on networks.

The hero character (who is not the film character Miles Morales personified) is a 13-year-old dancer named Shawn Taylor, who choreographed the moves entirely on his own. Black Sheep Studios NY filmed over the course of two days in Brooklyn and Queens - at a comic book shop in Crown Heights, a brownstone in Bedford-Stuyvesant, an arcade in Bushwick, a park in Ridgewood, and the industrial streets of East Williamsburg.

Working in conjunction with Marvel, the video includes Spider-Man references throughout. Some are obvious, like the comic books, the roll-gate, or the big movie poster on the wall. But how about the painted nails on one of the friends at 1:09? Or the framed poster and action figure in the foreground at 2:00?
