To promote the return of Peter Crouch's BBC podcast, the former England football player has punk'd his wife by getting a fake tattoo.

Back for its third series 'That Peter Crouch Podcast' sees the football star alongside BBC Sport's Tom Fordyce and Radio 1's Chris Stark. Giving a look-see into the life of a professional football player, the podcast works as a guide on everything from dressing rooms, transfers and keeping on the right side of your manager.

To ensure its return to BBC Sounds doesn't go unnoticed, BBC Creative designed a fake tattoo of the England striker doing his iconic football celebration - the 'robot' - in a tribute to the podcast.

Applying the fake tattoo to Crouch's arm, the footballer sat in a tattoo shop as he video called his wife, Abbey Clancy, to let her know. Unsurprisingly, she wasn't best pleased.
