Former Labour leader Ed Miliband may no longer be in the driving seat of politics but that hasn’t stopped him from being the subject of online ridicule, the latest example of which saw him give a fellow commuter a ‘death stare’.

Fellow tube passenger Rob Crego found himself seated opposite the MP and couldn’t resist taking a sneaky snap of the politician, who appeared less than amused by the experience.

Speaking to Mashable, Crego admitted he was actually a Miliband supporter, adding: “It was definitely rare to see the ex-leader of the opposition party on a train, which is why I took the photo.”

Rather than strike up a conversation however it seems Miliband was buried in his iPad for the remainder of the journey, perhaps mindful of his past run-in with a bacon sandwich.
