A week after a Ukip candidate suggested that Lenny Henry emigrate to a “black country”, after the comedian bemoaned the lack of black and ethnic minority people in the creative industries, a new ad for Premier Inn is doing the rounds on social media.

The ad shows Henry, the brand ambassador for Premier Inn, snuggling down for a sleep at Premier Inn, with the strapline 'You Kip'.

The Drum has not had a response from Premier Inn, after asking if the poster is real, but it is believed to have been Photoshopped.

UPDATED: A spokesperson for Premier Inn has confirmed that the ad was not created by the travel company. It is believed to have been created by @Beaubodor.
