Canada’s WestJet airline put the stun in stunning PR stunt when it surprised passengers with a generous Christmas gift bonanza.

Upon arriving for a flight, passengers were greeted at the airport by Santa who, via a TV link, spoke to them and asked what they’d like for Christmas.

Impressed at the effort but blissfully unaware that WestJet staff were busy behind the scenes taking notes of their Christmas wishes, passengers set off on their journey.

When they arrived at their destination, they were gobsmacked to be greeted by presents as they waited for their luggage.

There were tears and smiles as the presents were unwrapped – although the people who asked for socks, underwear and a warm scarf may wish they had been more ambitious!
