Global Facebook outage outrages consumers: a round-up of the Twitter reaction
A disaster of epic proportions took place this lunchtime: a global Facebook outage. We take a look at some of the best comments made about the outage using Twitter.Users have been unable to post updates, with “There was a problem updating your status. Please try again in a few minutes” appearing on the screen, while some users have also not been able to like other statuses. A Facebook spokesperson told The Drum: "Earlier this morning, while performing some network maintenance, we experienced an issue that prevented some users from posting to Facebook for a brief period of time. We resolved the issue quickly, and we are now back to 100 per cent. We're sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused."
