Unhappily Ever After: Israeli photographer captures the realities of being a Disney princess

Israeli photographer Dina Goldstein has revealed a series of photographs looking at what life might be like for a Disney princess if things hadn't ended so happily.

Belle, Jasmine, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Ariel, and many more can be seen dealing with the modern realities: failed dreams, pollution, war, obesity, cancer and chasing eternal youth.

Online, people have been commending Goldstein's work, titled 'Fallen Princesses'.

However Disney has been hit with some realities of its own after it posted only modestly improved results for the second-quarter.
