Web Applications for Marketing

Studied art and fashion design at Manchester then Westminster University. In the past 15 years Colin has been part of the buying team at Burberry, an Angel Investor, corporate film and TV producer, and for the last 6 years has run his own digital agency. An online social adoptee from 2005. He’s an exhibited artist.

It is by no means a new thing to have a web or phone application as part of a marketing strategy however I wanted to share with you a burgeoning area of web apps. There was a recent presentation by Loic Lemeur (he’s a friend of a friend of mine) at Google, a Zeitgeist Ignite talk on your body as the next platform.

You might think Eh? But give it 5 minutes and consider the combined recording of your actions, reactions and bodily functions not only for competitive reasons but also for data capture. I really believe Loic is onto something here – what do you think?
