Enhancements to Smart Shopping Campaigns
Smart Shopping Campaigns are a useful tool for ecommerce businesses, to enhance this tool further Google will be updating a number of the features including:

Launch of Image Extensions
Google is also launching a brand-new product called Image Extensions, which is currently still in beta. The introduction of Image Extensions means that ads in the first position on mobiles are now eligible to show an image alongside the text ad on Google Search.
Available in English, Spanish and Portuguese, Image Extensions improve the quality of your ad and adds to your text ad, increasing click-through rate.
Responsive search ads
Numerous enhancements and new features have been implemented for Responsive search ads, including:

• Countdown timers in responsive search ads
• Asset suggestions
• Channel level asset report.
Responsive display ads
There have also been some updates made to responsive display ads, these include:
• New layouts
• Auto-generated videos for responsive display
• and an improved look and feel for dynamic ads.
