In two new ads, celebs promote the mobile carrier’s myPlan, which allows customers to trade in any iPhone for a free iPhone 15.

Timed to the iPhone 15’s imminent release, Verizon has unveiled two new ads explaining how the brand’s myPlan gets customers the phone for free.

The first spot, which launched today, stars Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes, co-hosts of the popular podcast SmartLess. In the ad, Hayes pines over a new phone upgrade and Bateman fills him in on Verizon’s upgrade deal: by switching to myPlan, they can trade in any iPhone (in any condition) to get the new iPhone 15 on them. Creative agency Ogilvy led the spot.

The brand also releases today a Spanish-language spot by The Community starring J Balvin. In the ad, the Grammy Award winner sits at a salon and chats it up with other patrons. The message? You don’t have to be a celebrity to get the new iPhone 15 for free.

The new spot comes on the heels of Verizon and J Balvin’s collaboration for ‘Catch My iPhone,’ a new AR game developed by creative agency R/GA that depicts the artist standing 300 feet tall and making it rain iPhones to his new single, Dientes, which features Usher and DJ Khaled. The experience also gives players the chance to win the iPhone 15 Pro.
