Ad of the Day: Man City’s ‘electric’ strip lights up Japan
The ad for the Puma kit is set in the famous Tokyo Kabuki Hall and features Erling Haaland, Jack Grealish and Mateo Kovačić.
With an electric sky illuminating the cityscape, viewers see various Manchester City footballers model the latest kit. In the ad, the neon lights of Tokyo illuminate the top, which features an electric spark pattern throughout, fused with neon pink versions of the club crest and partner logos.

Jack Grealish said: “It has been an amazing experience to visit and shoot our campaign in Tokyo, it’s an incredible place and it’s great that we can unveil our new kit here during pre-season.”
The kit debuted on the pitch on July 26 at the Japan National Stadium as Pep Guardiola’s team played FC Bayern Munich.

To coincide with the ad, there’s also been a huge outdoor CGI push as the team arrived in the country.
