The Czech carmaker has given the milometer a whole new meaning in a new campaign from Leo Burnett agency Fallon UK.

A 30-second spot for Skoda follows a new owner of one of its Karoq cars as she explores the world and immerses herself in new experiences, all while the vehicle’s milometer is steadily increasing.

The spot, directed by Max Weiland through Smuggler London, was developed by Fallon UK. The global campaign will be supported by digital and social.

Graham Lakeland, creative director at Leo Burnett, said: “The opportunity to help people see one of the most basic features of their car, the milometer, in a totally new way was irresistible and showcases Skoda’s adventurous side perfectly.”

It’s the second orange car ad to come out this week following Fiat’s campaign that dunked one of its cars in orange paint and promised to end boring gray cars.
