A cheeky message has been painted at Ballyboughal Airfield ahead of tomorrow’s European Rugby Champions Cup final between La Rochelle and Leinster.

Heineken has helped one Leinster superfan tease La Rochelle’s head coach Ronan O’Gara (or ROG as he’s known locally) with a sneaky message. In bold white lettering, the words “Never too late to turn the plane around, ROG!” is big enough to be read from 30,000 ft and will be visible to all planes flying into Dublin on the La Rochelle flight path this weekend.

The mammoth message, developed by Publicis Ireland, measures 15m x 10m and was made with eco-friendly paint.

It’s part of the brand’s ‘Love Rivalry’ campaign where fans are encouraged to send cheeky voice messages to opponents on matchday.

The Heineken Champions Cup Final will take place this Saturday in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium.
