The dangers of dodgy bath bombs has been brought to life in the latest spot for Australian insurance company Budget Direct.

The ad, which dramatises the potential peril facing Aussie women as Mother's Day approaches, features the brand's recurring characters of Sarge, Jacs and Chief, the detectives who solve the mysteries behind why people use Budget Direct.

The latest spot, ‘Bath Bubble Trouble’, showcases the damaging aftermath of a dodgy bath bomb purchased from a Mother’s Day stall, which obliterates a property in pink bubbles.

Jonathan Kerr, chief growth officer at Budget Direct, says, “Budget Direct Insurance Solved is all about being taken care of, when the unpredictable happens. The campaign, which was created by 303 MullenLowe, runs across TV, cinema, online, radio and OOH. It is the latest in the long-standing series created by 303MullenLowe, which has worked with Budget Direct since 2014.
