General Mills’ Fiber One is offering those who have ‘fallen off’ of their New Year’s resolutions the chance to win a year’s supply of its low-calorie snacks.

Accidents happen – especially with New Year’s resolutions this late in the year.

That’s why Fiber One’s latest campaign is shot like a car insurance commercial, offering consumers the chance to get back on track with one year’s supply of low-calorie snacks.

A new spot, released today, stars actress and comedian Lisa Ann Walter, known for playing Chessy in the 1998 rom-com, The Parent Trap. In the ad, she walks viewers through a number of instances where diet disasters can occur, from a snack table to a readily available birthday cake.

“Temptation, Fomo, the hazards are everywhere,” she says in the ad. “I mean, really – who’s going to pick celery over a chicken wing?”

Walter then introduces viewers to Fiber One’s ‘Fall off forgiveness‘ program – a sweepstake that offers consumers a chance to win a year’s supply of free Fiber One products. The ad frames the offer as an “insurance policy“ that people can “file a claim” for.

The work comes after a survey conducted by the brand revealed that by March, 60% of Americans have given up on their health and wellness resolutions, but 82% say they would re-commit to getting back on track.

Starting today, consumers can enter the sweepstakes at www.FallOffForgiveness.com.
