Fans may get to find out the nine secret ingredients behind Chipotle’s coveted ’Honey Vinaigrette’ recipe. That is, if they help the chain reach its goal of donating up to 20 million pounds of produce to those in need this winter.

Together, Chipotle and The Farmlink Project will route donations to the top 20 most food insecure markets in the US, which include Albuquerque, NM, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Augusta, Ga and more. According to the brand, more than 33 million Americans live with food insecurity, which is defined by a lack of consistent, reliable access to enough food for an active, healthy life.

“Chipotle is a clear restaurant leader in local sourcing, buying over 35m pounds of local produce in the last year alone,” Chipotle’s chief marketing officer Chris Brandt, said in a statement. “We are proud to partner with The Farmlink Project to help them deliver fresh produce to food banks and help feed those in need this winter.”

The brand has already committed to partnering with The Farmlink Project to help donate over 10m pounds of produce to food banks across the US this holiday season. Its ultimate goal, however, is 20m pounds of produce donated by the end of January 2023.

If that goal is reached, chef Nick DiGiovanni will help reveal the cult favorite recipe on social media.

To support The Farmlink Project, consumers can round up their bill on the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com to the next highest dollar amount through January 31. They can also donate Chipotle Rewards Points and select The Farmlink Project as the beneficiary, equating to a 30-pound donation of food, until January 31.
