Mercedes-Benz has hit the streets, the beach and even the basketball court to demonstrate the versatility of its latest addition to the premium small van category, illustrating the mileage families can get out of a larger-than-average car in ‘Life Gets Big.’

Mercedes-Benz shows how small vans are not exclusive to small businesses

Promoted as a practical option for growing families, as well as leisure and sports enthusiasts, the T-class range of vehicles comes with sliding doors to permit easy access for everything and everyone without clambering over seats.

From a third child to a rubber dinghy, the international campaign demonstrates that the days of squashing uncomfortably close to fellow passengers are over, as are strapping bikes precariously to a roof rack.

Anja Gutmann, head of marketing communication and marketing operations Europe at Mercedes‐Benz Vans, said: “The ‘Life Gets Big’ campaign is an impressive demonstration of what characterizes our new T-Class: it is the perfect companion for anyone who needs a lot of space, but also values design, safety, comfort and versatility. With this campaign, we want to arouse enthusiasm for the new member of our Mercedes family – with loving attention to detail, even to the smallest assets.”

Developed by lead agency Preuss and Preuss and produced by Element E, the campaign shows how space and comfort need not be mutually exclusive when hitting the road.
