One Minute Briefs (OMB) is back promoting a new campaign encouraging the nation to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus. Teaming up with creatives Olivia Downing of TBWA\MCR and Sophie Stevens of Havas Lynx, the #StayingInn campaign, is an online pub, where you can share a pint across the globe from the safety of your own home; and invite your friends along too.

OMB and #StayingInn are asking Twitter creatives to spread the word and, in turn, reduce the spread of the virus that is causing so much disruption in all of our lives. Share your fun notes, scribbles, designs, sketches GIFS and whatever else that comes to mind to help everyone enjoy #StayingInn.

Due to current circumstances, pubs and bars across the UK are closed. What was once a social gathering, these institutions are closed up tight and so The Staying Inn decided to open an online pub on facebook, twitter and instagram. Supported by OMB’s talented community, it’s set to be a success.

Olivia and Sophie, the creators of The Staying Inn and self-professed landladies, said: “The world is a scary and uncertain place right now. We just wanted to help people get through it – because that’s our jobs as creatives, right? To solve problems in a way that people can really relate to and get behind.

"And with the pubs closing, a place where people would normally air their worries, we simply thought it would be a good idea to create a pub online, showing people that we can still socialise and enjoy all the things we normally do at a pub, in the comfort of our own homes.

"Ultimately we wanted to find a way to give people a bit of light-hearted respite from the news – while encouraging them to do exactly what the government is asking: #StayingInn and helping with the NHS’ efforts."

Tweet your entries to @OneMinuteBriefs and @The_Staying_Inn with the hastag #StayingInn. The prizes up for grabs today include: two cases of lager and a multi-packet of crisps, your poster pinned up in the #StayingInn and the gratitude of hospitality businesses and the NHS.

Nick Entwistle, founder of the Bank of Creativity, One Minute Briefs and Love Your NHS said: "We are also supporting the campaign through one of our social feeds @LoveYourNHS because NHS staff are staying at work for us and we all need to stay at home for them."

As with many businesses, the virus leaves us in uncertain times. OMB has partnered up with PayItForward, a promise between the people of Manchester and its hospitality and nightlife industry.

Entwistle adds: "We are supporting the #PayItForward scheme as we feel it’s important to do our bit to help the hospitality industry during such a difficult time.”

When you purchase a voucher that is redeemable after the Corona virus-19 has run its course, this will help keep the Mancunian social scene thriving through these trying times.
