Data lies at the heart of most marketer’s decisions but often, it can be difficult to know which insights are most important for meeting brand objectives and ensuring that internal communications match a brand’s messaging.

The Drum, in partnership with Salesforce company Datorama, will host a DrumCast in which marketers can learn how to compile compelling data strategies and create clever combinations of creativity and data in solving key challenges, that provide strong marketing results and drive performance.

Understanding data performance can help marketers to work out a campaign’s success and contribute to marketers finding out whether there’s any scope for uncovering new opportunities.

The session will be split into three parts, to help marketers to turn their data into well-defined objectives and action. Marketers will learn which questions are most relevant for delivering on goals and objectives; the jargon to use when connecting audiences to brands; and how smart design can drive engagement and ultimately add value if the right insights are extracted from the data.

The Drumcast will include digital marketing agency Croud’s head of data visualization, Stuart Arrowsmith, and Datorama’s senior marketing manager Julie Norman.

They will discuss what marketers need to do to beat the best in the world of data-driven marketing, and how to transform data into actionable insight and understand the importance of marrying customer data, insight, and clever storytelling.
